Hi,

I am about to install laminate. I ripped out all carpet and there are some holes and cracks (some are big) in the subfloor.
Which material should I use to fix them? Simple compound for drywall ( I have grade 20 at home)? Or other special material?

Thanks!!
Acton

Look at ARDEX, Mapei, Dependable, Parabond and many others that have products for your cracked concrete.

Your going to have to make sure that substrate also meets the strict flatness specs of 1/8" in 6' or you will have a failure soon, from edge chipping cracked tongues and separation
