I know they've been making it in aluminum for some time... but never saw it in plastic... (vinyl)... I have a roof-top deck that I would actually like to start using as a deck (hehe, go figure!)...

Good idea? I'm worried that each screw hole will cause a leak, but yet they claim it is as water tight as a roof?

Would like your thoughts...

The concept looks good. Leakage at the screws isn't a porblem -- they are isolated from the channel where the water will go.

My concern is that the vinyl is hollow, with ribs. I have my doubts as to how well that is going work.

Search Dura-Dri. That's a SOLID vinyl decking. I've never dealt with that, but I have put down about 10K sq. ft. of Pro Cell, and I really love it.
