My husband says I'm overthinking it, but how does the rain run off a screen porch that has treated 2x4 as baseplate? We are planning to tile the concrete pad once the screen porch is completed and I'm concerned the water will pool against the walls since it can't run off. Thanks for your responses in advance...

That's not overthinking -- that's planning ahead!!
If you are going to use a PT 2X4 for the base plate of the screen room, lift it off of the slab about 1/4" to 3/8". Use SS or aluminum spacers under it to keep it above the slab. Stop the tile about 1/4" before it gets to the PT plate. This will give the water a way out of the room, rather than trapping it inside.
