I'm very excited because all the windows in our house are bring replaced tomorrow with beautiful white vinyl windows! Our 2 upstairs bathrooms will have fogged-looking glass windows with a top portion that pops open outwards.
Any idea for window dressing that would accent these windows well? I like a modernish look and the windows are going to look so nice I hate to just cover them up with shades.

Hmm, perhaps I should leave them uncovered and just add trim around the windows to match the doorway trim?? None of the windows in the house have any trim. Would it look odd to have it just in the bathrooms?

If windows in house are not having trim and you are doing plaster turned windows, then I'd be consistent in the bathroom. If bathroom windows are 'fogged' to address privacy issues, you can get away with valence or other top treatment.

what ^^she^^ said, or just leave them plain. once you get a wall treatment done (painting, wallpaper, etc) and flooring & accessories in place, they won't seem so plain. they'll seem clean & streamlined & contemporary.

after a while, if they seem naked, then add a top treatment of your choosing.
