I installed approx 800 sq. ft. Bruce type 3/8in.glue-down over concrete. The floor looks great. Except I have two butt joints that are moving and popping. Is there any way to fix the popping without removing and replacing the boards. have you ever heard of anyone drilling a small hole and injecting an adhesive or mabye putting a small headed screw into the floor and into the concrete. to hold the joints down. Is there a trick I'm missing. The floor looks like a million bucks. I don't want to remove the boards.

Where joints meet and issues occur may be due to lack of flattness in this area. Your suggestions to correct the problem are reasonable in face of removal an reinstallation of boards.

Dri-Tac, Bostiks, and Pro-jection all have repair kits for drilling and injecting adhesive to remedy the concern.

Lack of substrate flatness to meet the strict specs, is what causes this.

May I inquire as to what brand/type of adhesive who used? I am getting ready to install 700 sq. ft. of 3/8 engineered wood over concrete.

Thanks
