Hello,
I just had 630 sq ft of Oak hard wood flooring. Being on a slab foundation and in N Texas it has to be glued down. The installer used a epoxy based wood flooring glue and managed to get a lot of slopy spots on the surface of the new hard wood floor.
Question: Can anyone help me find a way to remove the glue without removing the finish? TY xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Won't the installer correct his mistakes? He should have left you with a "ready to use" floor in perfect condition. That's what you paid him for.... I'd call him back out....

Especially since I don't have a clue how to get epoxy off the floor without possibly screwing it up....

good luck and I hope someone can give you the DIY answer....

Call the dealer from whom you purchased the floor, it is their problem not yours.

If wood has a polyurethane finish, acetone can be used to remove epoxy glue without damage to finish.

How would you remove epoxy tile glue from a cement basement floor?

Ya, since the installer did it, and made your investment look bad, ask the store the installer subcontracts from, to make you whole, again, giving you what you were paying for.
