can anyone give helpful advice. we want to have a pine floor installed in a screened porch. the sub-floor has been installed,
but the contractor never came back to finish
the job, so we thought we could do it ourselves...what kind of pine should we get,
what should it be finished with as far as stain and varnish that will not be affected
by the elements of the weather...
and any other advice anyone might have.thnx

Check with your local wood flooring supplier and see what they have to offer at a reasonable price for your budget.

It should be tongue & groove regardless.

Use an oil stain your color choice.

Either an oil based or water based finish. Zar makes a good water based finish.
