I would like to know if anyone knows the best way to remove existing wallpaper paste from textured walls without damaging the texture?
We recently bought a house that had a chairrail boarder on in childs room. It was glued directly to textured walls. Now my teenager would like to have it removed. We were able to remove the paper but the paste seems impossible. It is in all the grooves of the texture and we have tried solutions, but nothing seems to be working. We now have areas that we have damaged in the process. If anyone knows what we could use please help.Thanks...Turtlemom

I would use an oil primer over the effected area, and that will seal the adhesive. Then repaint. If if messed up the texture, then it really can't be helped.
