I want to wall paper my entry way. Not a large area, but needs some personalization. Is there a site for those who know NOTHING about hanging wallpaper for the first time? I'd like to advoid major problems, but really want to do it myself.
Thank you to anyone to responds.

Here (http://www.repair-home.com/how_to/hang_wallpaper.htm) is a very basic tutorial.

if you're going to be hanging strips 8' long or longer, i recommend enlisting the help of a friend, preferably one who has done this before. wallpapering alone is hard enough when you're experienced, but i wouldn't suggest it for a firsttimer.
as a DIYer, i have found that the single most important thing is to have a super sharp blade for trimming and change it OFTEN (after maybe 4 or 6 cuts). even a slightly dulled blade will tear your paper, instead of slicing through it, ruining your papering job. for ease of replacing the blade, get one or 2 of those snap-off types. don't wait for it to tear your paper, change it before it happens.
