I just purchased a 2006 Yamaha Gas Golf Cart that gets passed by much older carts. How can I get it to go faster?

I think they come from the factory set to about 15 mph.
Remove the cover (black plastic fastened with two screws) at the back of the cart so you are looking at the top of the rear differential. There is an arm with a spring and a cable attated. There is a nut (10mm I think) that you can turn to adjust the govenor. You should be able to get it up to the low 20 mph's just by adjusting the govenor.
