Hi Anyone !!!!!
I would like to know if someone has any hints at cleaning a jacuzzi bathtub??? I have been having trouble figuring out how to clean the air holes properly and at times they have a horrible smell. I have tried to use liquid dishwasher detergent but it doesn't seem to work well. I have also been told to try and take off the plastic screw on covers but they are was to tight and I'm sure i'll sctarch my bathtub badly. Oh and by the way it is fibreglass. So can anyone help me ???
Thanks

A microbiologist at a major university found infectious bacteria in 100 percent of jacuzzi type piped whirlpool baths and air tubs tested. Among those were three very dangerous ones -- E. Coli, Staph, Pseudomonas and Legionella.
Research reveals that manufacturers' recommendations to flush the jacuzzi type pipes and air channels with such household cleaners as dishwashing detergent, bleach and vinegar are ineffective, leaving conventional systems unclean and unsafe. Hospital grade sanitizers are recommended. EPA and OSHA approved sanitizers can be found at local pool and spa stores. A soft brush can be used to clean around jets. It is recommended that the tub's jet and pipes be sanitized weekly. Surfaces should be cleaned with non-abrasive cleaner and kept polished with fiberglass polish. Take care that bottom of tub will be slippery if polish or wax is applied there, so you may want to avoid the bottom of the tub.
