Hey welcome to the boards. First for the body oils and sweat...use of a protein cleaner found at your local pet stores, janitoral company or local home improvement store should do the trick.

For general dirt...if its a complete white t-shirt a oxidizer such as bleach or hydrogen peroxide should work well.

For oil....as in motor oil or other...use of a solvent will work.

Just a few tips. Spot one type a spot at a time..dont mix a bunch of chemicals together. Until you get everything out do not dry shirts.

Drying does tend to set stains...so the older the shirts..the harder it will be to get clean or less chance it will even come clean.

The protein and oxidizers need time to do their job..apply to area let sit 10-15 mins rinse with hottest water available.

The solvent...which could be mineral spirits, pog or a dry cleaning agent. Usually works within a few mins and some do require rinsing.

Repeat appilcations as needed. Good Luck and stop back by the forums and let us know how it turns out.

Pre-treating stains with the proper pretreatment for the type of stain is helpful. Soaking in a powdered enzyme detergent like Biz and water overnight is often effective for organic stains. There are liquid enzyme cleaners that can be applied directly to organic stains. In your laundry product aisle you can find Rit Dye products. The Rit Super Stain Remover is good for removing grease and oil-based stains as well as other stains.

To make it easier on your wife, discard the "1000000,0000" T-shirts and start over, taking care to pre-treat and soak stained items before laundering. And, always use hottest water recommended for fabric.
