i have an 1984 atc 200 s and cannot get it to spark any ideas is greatly appreciated

is it electric start, pull start or kick start? how old? been sitting? rusty? give some more details

If i where you i would check the magneito...i had the same problem on mine...if so you made need to replace it ;)

1984... may or may not have a magneto (CDI... Capacitor Discharge Ignition), might be running a MBI setup.

Can you give us more info? Also look up the thread Volusia not starting. Its a few weeks old. That has TON of info in it.
