I moved into a house with an ademco vista 10P alarm system and do not have any codes. How can I go about resetting? I tried the installer code with no luck.

Power the system down (battery then AC power); Restore AC power. Within 50 seconds press * + # at the same time on any keypad.

If nothing odd was done in the system setup, you will be in program mode.

Press #20. The digits that the system reads back are the installer code; write them down.

Exit programming with *99.

Changing the System Master code...
Using Installer code: Installer code + [8] + 02 + new code

(somewhere along the line, reconnect the battery. You may need to go into program mode again to disable the dialer if the system was previously monitored)

hey can you help me on one thing
i also have vista 10p and i shut down the system by pressing CODE+OFF then i want to turn the system back on i cant find a way to power it back on
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Websearch using the phrase "vista 10p user manual"

You arm by [code] + 2 or 3 (depending on whether you want stay or away modes).

If your system is actually powered down, then you have a physical problem, like an unplugged or bad power supply.
