A few weeks ago I installed a floating floor in the living room of my raised ranch. I would now like to install the floating floor in the small 5 x 6 landing area. This area is the entry way to my house, so is very heavy traffic.
With this being a fairly small area, I am worried that the floor might move if I install it as I did the living room (no glue, expansion area, etc). Would it be better if I glue the floor or maybe install the floor, but without an expansion area?
Any advice would be most appreciated!

After making darn sure the flooring is well acclimated to that area of the home(I'd let the cartons sit in the entryway for at least a week and a half. Then don't leave a full 5/16 as specified in bigger rooms, just don't install it tight right off the bat. Even though it is a small space leave a little room for it to grow if it feels it needs to. say no less then 3/16 on the perimeter.
Or but one side tight and leave 5/16 along 2 sides.
