What is the best way to remove the tack strip and staples from hardwood floors?

Since I just did this in my own home, it's quite easy.

To remove the tack strip, use a thin wonder bar and gently puch under the strip close to one of the nails and then pry up. You should put a thin piece of wood under the pry bar so you don't damage the floor.

To remove the staples, use a thin flat tip screwdriver and pry the staples up from the floor. Then, using a pair of electrician's plyers, pull the staples straight up.

GENTLY Run a 10 inch wide standard floor scrapper (carefully, with a somewhat dull blade) through the staples. Most if not all will be pulled up and not sheered off. this will take minutes rather than hours or a whole day. My customers would be amazed! when they see what i did in minutes as opposed to what they did all weekend in one room.
