I am building a condo for my cats. There are several places that will require carpet adhesive. What would be the best adhesive to use. A very strong hold will be required as there will be scratching and clawing on the carpet.
Thanks

I built a scrathing post for my son's girlfriend a few months back. Staples and hot glue worked really well.

(Sorry i hate cats, but I'll keep it to myself! ;)

crown staples will do just fine. Id stay away from glue if i could. Being an animal and all. Just a suggestion. Ive done several and never needed glue. Many stapling techniques. Try stapling a piece if action back carpet to a piece of wood and then pulling it off....go ahead :O)
