I would like to install a few cameras but need direction to a few sites that have info that I can read.The sites that sell have a little but maybe i just havent found the right ones. I want to install wired and need info about what wire ,what different cameras and how to connect to tv or computer or ct screen.

You can try this site (http://www.svconline.com/index.html) which is one of the trade magazine's sites.

These guys (http://www.rugged-cctv.com/learning.htm) are a vendor, but do have a pretty decent layman level information area.

There's more, your best search terms are CCTV, Installation, Troubleshooting, Education.
