Are you saying that you have a ready light, _and_ a zone 6 light lit?
If so, I would almost have to say that you may have the panel in a programming mode. Please clarify...

Joan, You are correct the green ready light and zone 6 red was on. Before this I have the system and red light, and zone 6 red on. I read the forum. Thought it is the battery I replaced it. Now I got the green ready and rec zone 6. I did tried to program the time and date. It never got pass the third spot on the time slot.

I think that you have zone 6 programmed as a fire zone or similar non-bypassable zone. I'm guessing that it's set as a fire zone.
It really sounds like you have this thing in program mode. What happens if you press # repeatedly?
I think you need to give us the keystrokes that you are using, step by step, because what you are describing doesn't make any sense for normal run mode.
