:wall: Just bought mini blinds at Home Depot. Window is 70.5" wide inside, nearest blinds were 72" wide. Box clearly indicates that the blinds' width is adjustable down to 64" but there is no further reference on the box, in the instructions or on their website about HOW TO ADJUST the width. My youngest grows impatient with her father; any ideas?

Doesn't Home Depot trim them to size?

yep, i think that's an "in-store" job. they can trim each slat and leave a nice uniform rounded-corner shape to them. i don't know exactly how they make the headrail narrower, but i'm sure that's not a DIY job either.

Thanks for the tip; I must have been temporarily "blind". Immediately under the vast selection of blinds was a simple machine (like a paper cutter, only larger and fixtured for mini-blinds, headrail and all) and the task took her every bit of three minutes while we watched! :)
