I have old dark bedroom furniture. I want to decorate in a beach type theme. How can I white wash this old furniture? Thanks.

To achieve a whitewash finish you'll need to strip the furniture first to get back to bare wood.
The other alternative is to paint what you have to lighten it.
Obviously, painting will be a LOT simpler.
