I am installing Mirage Engineered red oak flooring (3/8") thick and would like to add flush style wood vents that match up to the flooring (as closely as possible). All the vents that I've seen, reference 3/4" flooring. The Mirage finish is their "Natural" in "Semi-Gloss". Do to the difference in thickness, do I need to go with a "drop-in" versus "flush mount" style? Vents are a standard 2 1/4" x 12". Any suggestions around the style/thickness and vendor would be appreciated.
