Just got a new Vista 20P with 6270 Keypad, I have tried to access the programming mode (4112 + 800) but the alarm just beeps and I cannot continue.
The Ready light is green and there are no faults on any of the zones. Is there another way to reset the control panel or access the programming mode?
Thanks.

Actually, you need an actual mechanical keypad instead of the touchscreen for programming. You don't have to leave it in the system, but a real 2-line alpha keypad is required to access full programming functions.

You can! use the Touch Screen Key Pads for programming.
Unfortunately you exited the programming mode using *98 wich requires you to reset the pannel and push to buttons at the same time to enter programming (can't remember wich ones). The touch screen can't support two buttons pressed at the same time.
I purchased a cheap keypad just to unlock the pannel, and use the touchscreen to program.
Just remember to exit programming using *99 in the future. This will allow 4112 + 800 to be used again without reseting the pannel and using 2 keys to unlock.
