Hello,
Single mother here.... I have a shower that wont come on. When I pull up the nozzle thing on the faucet it comes up but it wont let all the water trough. There was a black rubber circle that had come out of the faucet, so i need to know how to put that back on. Do I have to take the whole faucet off to fix it or is there an easier way? Please help!!!!!

Nisasmommy, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
The thing you are talking about pulling up is called a diverter. You probably need a new spout. The spout and diverter is sold as one unit. If you look under the spout near the tub, there MAY be a slot. If there is, you need an allen wrench to loosen the screw that holds the spout onto the pipe. The allen screw is up inside this slot. If there is not a slot, you can unscrew the spout with no problem. Take the old spout with you to buy a new one as the threads have to be the same distance from the end of the spout as the old one. Perhaps you can find someone with the tools and get this done. Not a hard job. Good luck.
