 I have just purchased my first double wide mobile, IT IS OK! I have torn up the ugly carpet and want to put laminate down, Having read alot of the posts on this subject I am getting very nervous. How do I make sure my sub floor is perfect? I am trying to do this on my own ( with an occasional helper) and the usual story of no major money to spend yadda yadda. What is the best advice you can give me? I do not want to carpet the whole place! I truly am in a fog and need some good sound advice. Thanks-

The laminate is going to have to be installed across the modular building, as the joists run in the length, or lay another subfloor to tie the sections together solidly, if your spanning across the split. Also, if it is particle board decking, now.
That substrate has got to be flat!
