I want to re-paint some walls with a latex paint but the paint that is on the walls now may be oil-based. Will one of the Zinsser water-based primers be ok, and which one should I use?
The descriptions of the Zinsser primers all seem to do the same thing. The Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 DEEP TINT can be tinted which I would like to do.

It would be unusual for the wall to have oil-based paint on it

Oil--- Latex ----It don't matter. Zinsser goes over any paint. Primes --seals--and sticks like nothing else
