Where does one buy Polyethylene film? Around here they tell me it is a roofing product and costs near $149 for 900 sq. feet! Seems kinda high, but I could be way off. Is there another name for it?

Yes, some call it vis-queen, poly, plastic sheeting. It is sold in different mil's in thickness and also clear or black. What are you going to do with it?? To cover a crawl space , or over a concrete slab???

It is definetly not a roofing product. It is used typically as a vapour or moisture barrier.

You can get it at Home Depot. It comes in different widths, and thickness depending on your use. It should be more like $30 for 1000 sq. ft.

Look in the paint section at Home Depot.
