I have a Goodman CPKE30-1 unit. On occasion the the breaker will flip and I will have to go reset it. This happens probably 4-5 times per week. I haven't noticed any particualr circumstance that causes this (it happens at different times). Any ideas what this could be?

Could be a weak breaker.. Have seen that before.. Take an AMP reading if you have an Amp meter.

here are just a few that it could be dirty coils/dirty filter/loose electrical lug connection/bad wiring(to small)/bad contactor/weak or incorrectly sized breaker(probably is now after tripping several times)/low panel voltage/bad thermostat or thermostat wiring(short cycling)/bad compressor/refrigerant overcharge/bad condensor fan motor or possibly a bad capacitor if none of the above must be a poltergeist in the system. Check the voltage at contactor if OK then check the amp draw on both the compressor and fan motor. If amp draw is within specs replace the breaker.
