Help us figure this out! We are novices at electrical but can do most usual stuff. However, we cant figure out how to set up and wire these swithes. Scenario: one light ran on pull chain, at opposite end of kitchen the other ran off a switch. Light with switch is wired first to light and then to switch. We need to have two switches at each end of room, controlling each light. How is this connected/wired?

I'm completely confused.

See how close I came to correctly interpreting what you said: You started out with two kitchen lights. One of the lights was controlled by a pull chain, with no wall switch. The other light was controlled by a standard (non-3-way) wall switch. You would like a pair of 3-way switches, one at each end of the room. The switches should control both lights together.Is that an accurate statement of where you started and where you want to end up?

Have you done anything at all so far?
