Hey guys - I'm having the exterior of my historic house painted. The professional painter will be scraping / removing existing loose paint, which is definately LEAD paint.

I've got a 3 month old baby.

Should I get my wife & baby out of the house while the work is being done? And afterwards?

Thanks for opinions.

If the windows and doors stay closed it shouldn't be a problem although you might have better piece of mine with them elsewhere. Be sure they contain and dispose of all scrapings and there shouldn't be any worries in the future. :)

Done right it's not a big deal really
It should be fine
However if my wife wanted to stay at her friend's with a 3 month old baby for POM, I wouldn't argue
