I have an old walnut table that I have sanded and finished with Watco Oil, Golden Oak. It is great because it matches now matches the chairs perfectly, as well as hutch, I mean a perfect color. But I am looking for some additional protection for the table top.

My question is: Can I use tung oil or carnauba wax, or Howard's Feed N' Wax, or some other product?

I am not worried about shine, but protection from spills. I read that Watco alone will protect the wood... but I tend to worry.

Thanks,

Watco should do the job, but if you're really worried, use tung oil. Wax adds little or no protection.
