Thanks for all the posts they help alot.I Have a Trane xe-70 15 years old.Blower motor is wanting to start.Starts slow then comes to a stop .Tried turning it by hand but it won't keep spinning. Then turns off the outside unit . I removed the blower unit cleaned the fins .Didn't change anything.Blower works fine if I set tstat on heat.Other posts suggest capacitor change. Is that the one on the outside of the blower motor housing or is it in the outside unit .Thanks Again

Didn't change anything.Blower works fine if I set tstat on heat. Id say you have lost that high speed on the fan motor for AC.

More than likely, the blower motor has crapped out. It is quite common for one speed to go before another.
