my 75k btu comefortmaket Lp furnace has a intermitent problem. It sometimes won`t fire on the main burners, the pilot always lights and the small circ fan come on and thats as far as it will sometimes go. You have to turn off the t-stat and wait then try it again ,maybe 5/6 times before it fires the main burners and keeps going. Other times it will start up fine and the go out after heating for awhile. seem like its not introducing the fuel or cutting it off when its called for. I thought i heard that the smartvalve had issues years ago( furnance is 7 yrs old) and i`m wondering if this sounds like its the culprit? I`ve had several sevice calls on this problem but when they come it works fine and they can`t find anything wrong. they cleaned it, replaced the t-stat, igniter . ideas , any ideas, thanks

Sounds like you have one of the valves that had an internal solder joint problem. (Ibelieve that was the problem) All you can do is replace valve. When the pilot lights and the burner does not come on wiggle the wiring harness at the valve. Most time the burner will come on. Replace valve, this not a repair valve job.
