I have several sets of 2" wood blinds that have been mauled by a squirrel. The cords that hold the slats together are okay. The in between cording that holds the slats apart (separates them) are torn up. I think I saw this was referred to a ladder of the blinds. I would like to find a way to replace that part only. Anyone have a suggestion? Lorraine from Florida

i think the probably need to be completely restrung, as that cording is all continuously woven together. contact the manufacturer & see if you can ship them to them for repair.

Thanks for your reply to my blinds dilemma. I decided to throw them away and order new ones. I can see it would be an impossible job to do myself!! Lorraine

it's not a diy project, but i'm sure they could've been fixed a little less expensively than purchasing new ones, but it was probably less hassle to just buy new, huh?!
now, you know, i have to ask..........."mauled by a squirrel"??? please, do tell...... :D
