Hi. I'm planning on filling in an interior doorway (on a solid wall).
Do I need to brick it up and then plaster it or can I just put up a timber frame and then nail on the plasterboard and then plaster it??

A wooden frame covered with drywall should suffice nicely. Depending on what finish you want. It's a lot easier than trying to lay brick in a confined space... (which you will have to cover with drywall anyway, right?) and will last almost as long...
