yes I have the brinks 2000 home security system but have not had it activated in two years I am now having a problem with my key pad alarming telling me I have a trouble with one of my zones which is my my fire alarm I hit cancell on the pad and it seems to go out but will come back into alarm at different times during the day, is there any fix to this problem.

If there are smoke detectors in the system, there may be something wrong with one of them. If they are wireless, then one or more may have a low battery. If they are wired, someone could have tried to take a detector down, or it might even have failed.
