Hi:

I have a 5 year old Panasonic 4 head stereo VCR with on screen programming. The remote control died a few years back (dropped too many times on the hardwood floor) and I have been unable to find a replacement remote which will allow me to use the onscreen programming. Does anyone have any ideas or sources for a replacement Panasonic Remote?

Good Morning, tim964:

One thing for sure, don't try talking to Panasonic.

Here's a place that has the replacements and the also fixes the old ones: http://www.replacementremotes.com/

Thanks Smokey. I already tried Panasonic a few weeks ago and still no response from them. I'll try your suggested link.

Try http://www.tritronicsinc.com They are an authorized dealer of Matsu****a/Panasonic. A bit cheaper but factory parts. By the way it's pronounced "Mah-shu-stah" :)

Hi, Big Mike:
Only round-eyed gijean Americans pronounce it Ma-shu-sta. It is Ma Tah Sue Sheet AH
in Japan. LOL

I knew the "Fellow" that told me how to pronounce "Matsu****a" was experiencing an ID10T moment. I said it was your pronounce and this "Fellow" said it was the way I posted it. Oh well, none of what you read and only half of what you see/hear... At least I found out I was right the first time??? Always go with your gut eh?

Hi, Bib Mike:

LMAO! The Japanese language is unique in that they only have 24 letters. Their words are comprised of a form of syllable formation using consonent and vowel combinations. So the name is broken down as
MA (Mah) TSU (ta-sue) SHI (She) TA (Tah).

Ha! You did not know I speak their ranguage!
