I'm having a terrible time trying to fix my roller shade. It will either only roller up or only stay unrolled. I've tried taking it down and unwinding half way but it won't roll up again. Does anyone have any ideas?

have you tried doing the opposite? pull it down all the way, then remove it & hand roll it up again. then hang it up again & pull down again. this will tighten the spring up. it sounds like your spring isn't tight enough since it won't roll up. :confused:
