I want to mount ceiling fans on two paralell wood beams on a ceiling that slopes at approximately a 10 degree angle. I plan to mount the electrical boxes on the beams and wire the two ceiling fans with their lights together using a wire inside a chain. Then, I plan to plug the wire into an existing wall outlet that is controlled by an existing switch. My question is whether I will lose fan or light power from the fans by wiring them together? Is there a special way to wire them together?

Make sure you use a U.L. approved swag kit. Otherwise, you can't do this legally or safely. In general, you cannot hardwire fixtures designed to be plugged in, or vice versa. Is there no way to install regular permanent wiring to your ceiling? (That's a rhetorical question--of course there is.)
And no, as long as the fans are wired in parallel (connecting all matching colors), the fans won't lose any power. You will also need an approved surface wiring method for the cable between fans, and all connections must be made in permanently accessible junction boxes.
