My husband dripped sausage grease on our upholstered living room chair. How can I get this stain out?

I use mineral spirits for grease and oil stains. Put some on a clean rag and blot from the outside of the of the stain to the center. Always wise to test in an inconspicuous area first.

Solvent cleaners are recommended for grease and oil stains. The mildest and most handy solvent is rubbing alcohol. Blot from outside stain toward middle with white rag to prevent spreading. Denatured alcohol and dry cleaning fluid are also recommended for grease and oil stains.
