Hi,
could I please have some help with examples of hanging or draping sheers over sheers. I have stood in front of these windows long enough I need a nice easy example...Help...I have straight panels covering the windows and an iron rod over them...I just need to know how to fold the sheers neatly for a decorative look. I have a double window that I somehow got three nice scallops on...but two single windows that just are not working out obviously due to smaller windows....so is there a magical way to drape these sheers. I have looked in catalogs for examples and they just dont do me any justice....thanks its so simple its killing me not to figure out.....thanks in advance...

you mean like this? (http://www.brylanehome.com/Search/EA_Search.aspx?SearchHeader=sheers) or this?? (http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?DeptID=25437&CatID=28507&CatTyp=DEP&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=SIZ&ItemID=0d10d12&ProdSeq=6&Cat=sheers&Dep=Window&PCat=Curtains-drapes&PCatID=28415&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=11&RecPtr=&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&RefPageName=CategoryAll%252Easpx&RefCatID=28415&RefDeptID=25437)
either way, you'll probably need double stick tape! sheer fabric is really slippery, and hard to get to stay where you want it. you may even need to tie attractive knots on each end.

Thank you Annette you are my sole reply....the second "this"....but the sheer panels from the first example....I have a cream very very long sheer I now have it draped or twisted I should say around an iron rod.....underneath two regular window panels on a clear rod hanging straight.... I am really having trouble with the topper......so I hope this makes since the look of example two but with one very long sheer......one long sheer twisted to look like example 2.....I just dont have the knack of twisting I guess???? thanks for any more insight you might have...

try fan-folding it lengthwise first, then lay it & wrap it over/around the rod. then spread out the folds into those pleats. in addition to using tape, you may even need to use push pins into the back of the rod. do whatever you need to do to get it to stay, as long as it's hidden, it's ok!!!
the problem, as you've discovered, is that usually, the sides hanging down are heavier than the swagging part, so it all wants to slide down.
