It appears JCPenny is the only company I can find that has these (http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?DeptID=25437&CatID=28538&CatTyp=DEP&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=ENS&ItemID=0c8c642&ProdSeq=6&Cat=roman&Dep=Window&PCat=Shades&PCatID=28537&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=31&RecPtr=&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&RefPageName=CategoryAll%252Easpx&RefCatID=28537&RefDeptID=25437) bamboo sliders (Granada Slider Panels) but they don't make them tall enough.

Where can I find these sliders with a height of 97 inches?

you probably won't find them anywhere. 97" is over 8 feet tall. i'd think that would be a custom job, if there's even anyone who'd do that type of shade in a custom size. you might start calling the manufacturers directly & ask about having them custom made.

do you have a window that tall? or are you wanting them as a room divider?

Yes, the sliding doors are 8 feet high.

did you ask Penney's if they could be ordered in a larger custom size?

I called the 800 number which got me the distributor directly and they do not provide these items in the larger size.

I have just come across the same problem myself....It looks like I will have to go with custom bamboo slider panels and pay nearly $700.00 because no one sells standard 96" length panels! Even though it seems costly for a "window covering", I must admit thouogh, the samples I have already recieved look georgus! I am curious to know what route did you end up taking?

My link didnt work but i assume you are talking about what is more often refered to as "panel tracks"

Most any designer can have these made for you out of any fabric.. But there are many manufacturers out there..

Kirsh, Graber, hunter douglas, fashion tech all have a product like this..

A high end designer I use to do work for would aften order panel tracks for very cheap from american blind and wallpaper( i think thats the name os them)

Any drapery workroom can make these for you, also. You don't have to go to a designer to get them.

Surprising, since in the case of panel tracks, you usually get what you pay for, from what I understand.

I'm flipping a 200k house, and a few days ago came across this topic and decided to take a look at the sliders. My wife went to Penny's and purchased the set for a 6 foot sliding door in the Dark Honey color. They are very nice, and so we went back today and purchased two more. Easy to install and on sale too. This house has of all things a sliding door off the dining room to the deck and one of these will tone down the hard feel of being in the dining room looking over a deck. Same for the kitchen. I also like the fact that some light does pass thru such which gives a nice look.

Have a nice day,
