I have done this with a pressure washer and it worked fine.
Painter used half clorox with half water in shower before painting ceiling.
This worked fine as the ceiling was white. I plan to try this on some outside
bricks in a test area. I'm concerned that it would either fade the clay bricks,
not work because of porus nature of bricks or both.
Comments and/or a suggestion for removing mold on outside bricks will be
appreciated.

They do have out mold/mildew remover instead of the bleach. My only thoughts are i would hit the pressure washer right on the joint lines. May break or lossen it. The bricks should be fine as far as being hit with water. After all they are outside.

The color in bricks will not be affected by bleach. The clay was kiln-fired and the color baked in. Bleach, however, may affect colored mortar in joints. Wet a section, spray bleach/water solution from bottom up on brick, let set and then rinse. If mold and mildew are severe a brush may be necessary. Then rinse and move on to the next section.
Many caution against the use of pressure washers on brick exteriors. A pressure washer can inject vast amounts of water behind the brick veneer wall of a home and it can erode soft clay brick and knock out loose mortar joints.
