hello and thanks in advance for any replys,
i just bought a 17 center console with a 115 hp mariner outboard, the moter starts up and runs pretty good while in forward, buts stalls as soon as i put it in nutruel or reverse. i havent had a chance as i just bought it today to give it a look, but i plan on it sometime this week. any ideas on what and where to check first. thanks kenny

sounds like the carbs maybe gummed up and need rebuild.you may want to idel it up some,check plugs.

Compression and spark check first. If they check good then proceed to the carbs. Might just need a good sync and link.
