I have just installed a DSC 832 alarm system and have a programming problem. I completed all of the programming (I think). It has 5 zones programmed 1-delay (01), 2-instant (03), 3-instant (03), 4-delay (01), and 5-instant (03). This is not monitored, so I disabled the communicater (section 380 option 1). I have programmed the user codes. After I programmed everything, all of the zone lights are on steady (1-5) zones 6, 7, and 8 are not used and are not on. I don't know what I need to do to complete programming so the zones will work. *2 reveals no lights.
The panel worked when it was first powered up and I was able to verify all zones were correctly operating. I had to default the panel because the master code was changed. I'm sure I have just overlooked something simple and now I have become snowblind. Any help would be appreciated.

Either install the zone resistors, or turn on option 1 in section 013 of programming to disable the requirement for them.
