Hello. I want to make good quality professional picture frames. I am a new woodworker, and have a new router & table. Can someone direct me to a site
where I can get started? Last Winter, I installed 4 rooms with pre finished Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring (Jatoba) and have some overstock that will
work nicely for making frames. I would appreciate any suggestions or help with my new hobby.

What are you looking for in a web site? Just DIY picture frame info or are you looking for woodworking tools, information, etc.?

Also how involved do you plan to get with this hobby? You are going to need a miterbox or chop saw to cut the 45's. You can buy jigs (or make your own) for a table saw that will help cut the angles. Also, depending on how accurate you angle cuts are and/or how much gap you don't mind, you may want to look at a miter trimmer. But that maybe overkill if you just want to dabble in this.

Don't forget the pneumatic staple gun for making sure your joints are firm and clean...................

On the other hand, Michaels (not a plug... just an example) has stock frames that I can't beat the price on.....
