Help! A stick of green gum got into the dryer and melted all over two peachskin fabric shirts. It is in many spots all over the shirts, it's like in/on the fabric, not in a nice neat wad :( Any suggestions? I have no experience with peachskin...I was washing them for the first time!

You may want to try some freeze spray for gum removing. Hit the area with short blasts, gently with a plastic knife chip away what you can. Then you may want to try blotting with rubbing alcohol to remove whatever remains. BUT since its been thru the dryer, gums contain synethic dyes. Which under xtreme hit have been know to set into the fabric. Which may of may removal difficult to impossible.
You can get the freeze spray at your local janitoral supply store.

You can also place shirts in the freezer or hold an ice cube on the gum to freeze it. As indicated, blotting with white rag and rubbing alcohol will remove the residue.
