My son has recently purchased an 8 year old mobile home in Atlantic, Canada. He must convert the heating oil furnace to an electric heating system. The two options appear to be an electric furnace or on-floor radiant heaters. I am unfamiliar with electric heating, so would appreciate any comments about the pros and cons of the two systems.
Thanks

Canadian Dad,
His ability to use electric heat will depend on if there is a big enough panel in the trailer and available power wherever he hooks it up.
You don't say how big the mobile is but an average unit should have a 200 amp service.
The best type of electric heat in this case would be a forced air electric furnace.
The air tends to become stagnant when using baseboard heaters.
