Does anyone know how to reprogram a Brinks 3000 master code? I bought a house with an existing system and have the previous owner's master code. Problem is half the neighborhood also has the code! The Brinks manual says you have to call Brinks to change the master code [$$$ of course]. Any thoughts on reprogramming would be appreciated. Thanks.

The bad news is that Brinks panels are propriatory, and if you don't have their manuals _and_ their programming device (a modified keypad), you are stuck. They cannot be programmed by an end-user.
