Hello, I’m trying to replace a ceiling fixture. The current fixture is a simple screw in type with 2 sets of wires running to it, 2 hot, 2 neutral, and 2 grounds. This is the 1st light out of 4. I’m guessing one set of wire is coming from the switch (power) and the second set is going to the next light?
My new fixture is a 3 halogen track with separate hot and natural wires with a common ground for all 3.
Do I simply hook all the hot wires together and the same with neutral and ground?
Thanks for any help.
Chad

Do not disconnect any of the other wires in the fixture box that are not connected to the existing fixture.
